Itinerary
Arrival in Luanda, Meet & Greet at airport. Private transfer to the hotel for check-in. Luanda City Tour - Enjoy a panoramic drive along Luanda Bay and past the National Bank of Angola, the Monument to the Unknown Soldier and the National Assembly. Visit the Iron Palace, a historic ironstructure building and a Walking Tour along Merchant street, one of the oldest streets. Finish with a visit to the São Miguel Fortress, offering sweeping views of the city. Late lunch at a local restaurant followed by transfer back to the hotel.
After breakfast get ready for the start of your adventure with a long but very scenic drive (6 to 7 hours). Have some snacks for lunch on your way. We will stop at the huge Pungo Andongo rock formation for panoramic views. Drive to the Hotel for a late lunch and relaxation. Dinner at the Hotel Kahombo resort.
A relax day fully dedicated to the spectacular Calandula waterfalls. The morning begins at the panoramic viewpoint (Miradouro), with time to walk to the top and enjoy breathtaking views over the falls. We then continue to the opposite bank, on the Pousada side, offering excellent photo opportunities and optional walks to the base of the falls or to the natural pools of the Lucala River. Mid-afternoon return to the hotel for overnight.
Early morning and after breakfast, departure via Ndalatando to Luanda. Mid-afternoon arrival and check in at the Hotel.
